'The Atomic Brain' (1963) – Joseph V. Vascelli.
The filthy rich, reprehensible old crone Mrs. March (Majorie Eaton) provides the finances for a no less morally destitute, morally destitute scientist Dr. Frank (Frank Gerstle)to perfect his bespoke process of transplanting living, not exclusively anthropoidal brains into another suitable donor body, with the increasingly desperate Mrs. March ardently hoping to have her own envy-twisted brain surgically placed into the younger, far more handsomely proportioned cranium of her lithe, deliciously buxom, recently hired domestic! Far from being a celluloid catastrophe, this fabulously feral freak-show remains an uproariously camp 60s fright-flick about the increasingly maniacal, medically malign ministrations of malevolently cellar-dwelling, cerebellum swapping surgeon Dr. Frank and the despicable desires of this wealthy patron of the dark arts Mrs. Marsh! Vascelli's singularly bizarre, unintentionally hilarious, entertainingly bonkers B-feature positively abounds with deliriously drossy dialogue, terrifically turgid Thesping, asinine accents, and the peppy, xylophone-heavy score by maestro Gene Kauer certainly helps make the unfairly maligned 'Monstrosity' aka 'The Atomic Brain' a definite no-brainer for avid B-Horror fans! Fun fact! This manifestly macabre midnight movie is niftily narrated by talented character actor Bradford Dillman!
