'Let The Right one In' (2008) - Tomas Alfredson.

There is something uncommonly tragic and darkly fascinating about the gruesomely entwined fates of our youthful, preternaturally pale protagonists, Eli & Oskar in, Tomas Alfredson's wonderfully wintry, audaciously vivid, emotionally frank, coming-of-rage, macabre masterpiece, 'Let The Right one In'. There have been all-too few contemporary fright-flicks that glister quite so brightly as this exquisitely wrought, wickedly unsentimental, blood-spattered jewel, which, for me at least, remains resolutely one of the noughties most notable horror films!

'Can I come in?'

'love hurts' ('Låt den rätte komma in')

'Butter wouldn't melt...'
