'Hijacked' aka 'Altitude' (2017) – Alex Mirkin.
On paper at least, the somewhat dubious idea of pairing giddy-headed, glamorous Hollywood Housewife Denise Richards, and towering action icon Dolph Lundgren in a high-altitude, bad attitude, low-budget 'Fly hard' might not in actuality take flight, and, yet, if one has the good grace to overlook the rather derivative, high-voltage Liam Neeson-age, this airborne fight-flick, while somewhat turbulent at the outset, very soon raised itself above the murky clouds of DTV mediocrity, and while aesthetically it is noughties-era Seagal, it benefits greatly from the absence of said helmet-haired head-knocker, and it's always tremendous fun when delicious Dolph manifests a screen-chewing villain, in this instance the handsome, lofty star heads the nefarious gang of mercenary plane hijackers, and while there aren't any genuine surprises, the zesty acting from a clearly engaged cast is better than you might expect, with a majestically malevolent turn from gorgeous, gun-happy Greer Grammer as one of dreamy Dolph's more vulpine enforcers doing much to raise one's blood pressure! Working on such a penurious budget, the effects are noticeably creaky, but otherwise, director Alex Mirkin's 'Altitude' is top-flight, explosively exhilarating, Beer n' pizza friendly, B-Movie entertainment!
