'Origin Wars' (2016) - Shane Abbess.

A moody Kellan Lutz broods magnificently in the inventive sci-fi actioner 'Origin Wars (2016) by talented film-maker Shane Abbess. This is a dynamic, fun throwback to the glory days of grungy-looking, high-octane DTV off-world shoot 'em up action/Sci-Fi popularized by the likes of inventive low-budget savants Albert Pyun or Roger Corman! While the stodgy text is not without its flaws, the visuals are frequently spectacular, and the monstrous, terraforming warrior beasts are a delight to behold! 'Origin Wars' felt pretty ambitious, was competently directed, and proved to be frequently imaginative with some satisfyingly slam-bang bouts of boisterously Block-Rockin' B-Movie carnage!!!! There's some goodly stuff going on here, mayte!
