 'UHF' (1989) – Jay Levy.

A goodly number of cult 80s comedies are greatly impoverished by the generous application of body-warm apricot chutney over the lower extremities, and, happily, 'Weird Al' Yankovic's televisually titillated, giddily gag-infested, cinematically savvy spoofery most certainly isn't one of them! Whether you have a preference for keeping one's thunder-thighs dry, or sweet-sticky, Yankovic's rib-ticklingly jocular film tantalizingly exudes its very own Moorish, delectably delicious chuckle chutney!!!!!!!!!! Rambo had a gnarly dose of PTSD, in Germany they had DAF, in France they still have plentiful STD's, lahnden overdosed on Pil, and the US of A tuned us into UHF!!! The foofily coiffed, rakishly moustachioed, creatively unbound, satirically spectacular George Newman is the kinda' blue sky dreaming maverick from the 80s our schmendrick-saturated world needs RIGHT NOW!!!!! Jay Levy's frequency fabulous fun-fest 'UHF' remains one Uncommonly Hilarious Film!!!!!! Tune out the sinister static, and tune in some Universally Hopeful Fantasy!!! As we all could do with some more UHF, Unblemished Human fabulousness!!!! And any time is right time for...Unmitigated Heroic Fappage!!!!
