'House on the Edge of the Park' (1980) – Ruggero Deodato.

'Nice type, Alex. if you didn't know him you could even be fooled!' I simply ADORE this ferociously flesh-flaying, blithely bourgeoisie badgering, disco-demented Deodato directed skeezoid slasher classic! Long misrepresented as merely some cheapo/sleazo Italianate Video Nasty, I was always diabolically drawn to this frenzied film's crude, deliriously decadent charms, as, for me, celluloid beauty is ALWAYS in the eye of the B-Movie beholder! I think I first saw 'House on the Edge of the Park' (1980) at about 13, or 14 years old on some epically fuzzoid, poorly duped VHS bootleg, and, by Jehovah's saintly jumping jacks, it rigorously proved to be quite the grisly-groovy, grey matter game-changer!
