'Nazi Zombies' (1999) - David B. Stewart III.
David B. Stewart III's little seen, splendidly gory, low-budget, poorly acted Zombie gut-muncher 'Nazi Zombies' might contain enough brainless brain-spillage for the serious trash movie connoisseur to feast upon than the generic packaging and prosaic title might suggest. Clearly inspired by 'Shockwaves' and Romero's iconic 'Day of The Dead', we follow the fateful mission of a crack black ops unit that are covertly sent to an isolated top secret military facility wherein an apocalyptically dangerous bio-warfare program has gone rogue, and once inside this blackened, hellish blackened the Stoic Gen Gibbs (Tom Reilly) and his battle-hardened squad are gruesomely overwhelmed by a ravening horde of flesh-crazed zombies! And if one can forgive the turgid text, frequent lack of technical proficiency; the gonzo, gleefully gory 'Nazi Zombies' is a successfully scintillating stab at skull-splatteringly simplistic S.O.V savagery. While made over 20 years ago it feels curiously contemporaneous, perhaps due to its spicy Italianate retro-gore vibe which is far more of a popular horror motif today than back in 1999! My sole gripe is the poor lighting in the night exteriors, but, on the plus side, I certainly enjoyed the 'energetic performances' from Tom Reilly and Steve Brown. The frequently flawed, but greatly-gored 'Nazi Zombies' has just enough of the reich stuff to keep me entertained!'
Fabulously F'up film freaks who dig on the more scurvy-looking examples of wrong-headed retrograde zombie splatter should enjoy this especially lurid spatter of vintage video vomit!' - Skumbalinia / Cruelovhardkock.com

heroically haemoglobin hungry homage to cheapjack Italian zombie
splatter impresario Bruno Mattei! Hey!!! A no-budget Gore epic ALWAYS
tastes better with extra cheese!'- TerrorTampon @ SalonTitty.com
'Fans who dig on Jean Rollin's wonderfully wonky water-logged Nazi Zombie roctoberfest 'Zombie Lake' should timorously dip their terror toes in the blood-soaked S.O.V gem 'Nazi Zombies' – Weirdlingwolf / Dirty Kunst Video.
