'Nerve' (2016) – Ariel Schulman/Henry Joost.
Trapped inside this dark web of dayglow internet intrigue, wherein only the fittest, blandest blondes with the nerve to dare all might potentially win their 15 mins of click-baiting notoriety! Fast-paced and rapidly vapid, with buff, one-note Thespian Dave Franco's squeaky-creepy voice and Emma Booth's enervating dullness actively making them no less adorable a screen couple than Eva Braun and a certain drug-addled Austrian despot! It's like all the 'actors' in this inanely written 'film' were synthetically spawned from the very same tainted test tube as Taylor Lautner! While slicker than a Japanese toilet, 'Nerve' is to good cinema what ipecac lip-balm is to good lovin'!
