'A Touch of Love' (1969) - Waris Hussein.

A recent, and entirely welcome cinematic discovery that proved to be a genuine revelation!!!!! This is a no less sublime work than the talented director's perfectly pitched 'Melody' (1971). Brilliant performances, beguilingly nostalgic views of 60s London, and a surprisingly melancholic edge made this worthy melodrama wholly irresistible!
