Peter Graves, Ray Milland, Vincent Van Patten, and some lava hot honey-babies star in zesty, late 70s cult action/thriller Survival Run. Milland is predictably grouchy, Peter Graves's Kandaris is a coolly charismatic villain, and the spunky young cast prove amiable enough. The fiery desolation of the desert provides a suitably oppressive backdrop for these sun-blasted shenanigans, and the final act is lively, having a boisterous Toy Soldiers quality.
