'Compulsion' (1959) – Richard Fleisher.  


This utterly compelling, immaculately acted, beautifully written, raven dark true crime classic has certainly lost none of its emotional intensity! While oft repeated, Welles is propah genius in his final plea. And the look on Stockwell's boatrace when Welles does his 'dropped glasses....' bit, outstanding drama!!!!!!
