 Superchick (1973) – Ed. Forsyth.

'Last one on the bed, gets no head!'

Dazzlingly capable Superchick (Joyce Jillson) portrays the officious, yet unassuming air hostess, along with her insatiable, karate-chopping, hot-panted blonde-haired heroine as she lustily embarks upon a salacious series of soft-cored, rumpy pumpy-inflected trans American adventures. Upbeat, resolutely cornball, super sunny, slap n' tickled 70s fare, a gloriously goofy, conspicuously groovy snapshot of that most plasticized, hedonistic and colourful of epochs. While Scorsese, De Palma, Monte Hellman et. Al were blazing new cinematic trails, Ed Forsyth luridly presented bouncy, lowest common denominator rompage like Superchick, and I, for one, 'ain't go no problem with that at all, dude! Superchick is junk, but it's altogether amiable junk, the most entertaining aspects of the film being the egregious dialogue, objectively funky score, and a bullshido fight scene worthy of Stephen Seagal himself. Like Botoxed horror-bag Katie Price, Superchick has aged badly, but one shouldn't be too unkind, since the allure of the film's effervescent star remains thrillingly undiminished!
