'Der Teufel in Miss Jonas' (1974) – Erwin C. Dietrich.
Serially salacious Swiss exploitation impresario Erwin C. Dietrich is widely regarded as being one of the more cavalier, fly-by-night producers of low budget adult entertainment, often having 3 productions running at the same time, rarely, if ever, working with a completed script, his 'colourfully improvised', recklessly ribald productions are frequently episodic, deliriously hyperbolic, delightfully bawdy affairs, with his saucily satanic celluloid sensation 'Der Teufel in Miss Jonas' demonstratively being one of his more popular, blissfully buxom, internationally recognized titles, this fleshly fabulous fable has retained its dark glamour over the years due to having the scurrilous adventuress manifested in the exquisitely voluptuous form of the arousingly athletic Christa Free, whose luridly lusty, orgiastically occult exploits are garishly exploited by the director for the eternal erotic edification of refined Euro-cult fans. Some of the more inventively illicit vignettes in 'Der Tuefel in Miss Jonas' are more diabolically distracting than others, but there is one especially frank, deliciously decadent, stridently sapphic interlude betwixt the devilishly uninhibited, seemingly insatiable Miss Jonas and her sinfully sinuous, golden-haired, sublimely supple flatmate Dorthe (Marianne Dupont) which swiftly put these idle hands to the devil's work! The performances are zesty, with an especially sinister turn from the iconic Herbert Fux, and the technical aspects of this VIP Blu-ray presentation are top notch, with a surprisingly sharp image that many of the other boutique Euro-cult labels fail to match.
