'The Dick Francis Mysteries' (1989).

Super charismatic acting Icon Ian McShane is on top form in these 3 gallopingly good, bright n' breezy feature-length Dick Francis murder mysteries! The exciting, tightrope taut 'Twice Shy' is boisterously enlivened with a pair of deliciously dastardly B-movie villains! I also got a pleasingly cosy 'Lovejoy' vibe from this fun trilogy, but McShane's tough ladies man David Cleveland is, perhaps, a little readier with his fists, mayte!!! And silky suave Patrick Macnee is ALWAYS good value! While this 3-Disc set looks as though it may have come free with a weekend tabloid, it's not as pony as some may think! Not exactly a derby winner, but a pacy little small screen runner nonetheless! B-Movie freaks might like to know that 'Blood Sport' is directed by Harvey Hart who also made boisterous B-Cult classic 'Shoot'. (1976)
