'Wired Shut' (2021) – Alexander Sharp.

Writer/Director Alexander Sharp's glacially atmospheric unhappy family reunion 'Wired Shut' (2001) thrillingly proved to be an enjoyably dark, teeth-gnashingly tense, Hitchcockian psychodrama with some lively, engaging performances, that frostily comes to a no less tightly twisted conclusion than the grievously beleaguered main protagonist's ruinous jaw! 'Wired Shut' is arguably one of the more rewardingly adult, and dramatically compelling iterations of the usually forgettably disposable home invasion milieu. And the exotically handsome, resplendently bearded young actor Behtash Fazlali credibly makes for one of the more deliciously histrionic characters I have seen of late! I happily caught this high quality, tautly-written, slow-burning marrow chiller on the Horror Channel recently, and can heartily recommend it to all horror/Thriller sophisticates who can appreciate a little additional depth to their late night celluloid blood-spillage!

'Wired Shut' is a stiflingly sinister, brutally minimalist nightmare!' -Weirdlingwolf.
