'The Wasp Woman' (1959) – Roger Corman.
I still get a righteous B-Movie buzz from Roger Corman's bodaciously bugged-out 50s high-flying, Sci-Horror classic! This certainly 'aint no fuzzy-headed Bee movie! it's the wickedly warped 'The Wasp Woman', and this fearsomely feeding, fright-faced fink has quite the sting in her twisted tale! Some creature features are creepier than most, and 'The Wasp Woman' will turn your legs to Royal Jelly! Janice Starlin is the beautiful, capable, level-headed founder of her own thriving cosmetics company, but increasing vanity pushed her to appropriate a risk-laden remedy, and after she foolhardily injects a heroic dose of Dr. Eric Zinthrop's sinister serum, her clandestine fixes of this evil elixir unexpectedly manifested the most terrifyingly transformative side-effects, malevolently morphing her from picture perfect businesswoman into one of celluloid's most memorably corrupt cryptids...'The Wasp Woman'!!!
