'Cat O' Nine Tails' (1971) - Dario Argento.

It's been a languid minute since I last enjoyed stylish shock master, Dario Argento's purrfectly puzzling 70s thriller, 'Cat O' Nine Tails', and it never fails to galvanize my gleefully Giallo-guzzling senses! While I genuinely adore the charismatic cast of sublime actors, James Franciscus is a distractingly attractive lead, and tough cookie, Karl Malden makes for one of Dario's more amiable amateur sleuths, it is soundtrack icon, Ennio Morricone's magnificently sexy-sinister score that teasingly gives me paws for thought! Dario Argento's fiendishly engrossing whodunnit, 'Cat O' Nine Tails' remains a sinuous, exquisitely twisted tail of creepy-cunning chromosome chicanery that continues to enthral multitudes of hardened Euro-cultists, and neophyte Gialli Babies alike! Watching this sleekly constructed Giallo masterpiece ALWAYS gives me the sweetest feline!!!
