'Link' (1986) - Richard Franklin.

I have always felt that, Richard Franklin was an unusually gifted genre director, and his imaginative, notably intelligent, and thought-provoking 80s horror classic, 'Link' is bountifully blessed with one of the most engagingly dynamic scream queens, the uncommonly beauteous, Elizabeth Shue!!! When genuinely clever filmmakers are able to generate this much sympathy for their protagonists, human, or otherwise inclined, the jeopardy is that much more profound!? And maestro, Jerry Goldsmith's score is astonishingly fabulous!!!
