'Lover's Lane' (1999) - Jon Steven Ward.

Pretty blonde ingénue, Anna Faris, makes her delicious debut in capable director, Jon Steven Ward's amiable indie slasher, 'I'm Still Waiting For You' aka 'Lover's Lane'. While relatively light on cranberry sauce this generously cheese-stuffed, teen-terminating terror turkey remains a terrifically tasty, death-giving treat!!! 

 

 

The appealingly zesty, sadly neglected 90s blood-spiller, 'Lover's Lane' aka 'I'm still waiting for you persistently proves itself to be a far more entertaining High Schooler skewering stab-fest than its meagre, wholly unwarranted status of bargin-binned B-Horror obscurity might suggest it to be, and, from my warped perspective at least, 'Lover's Lane' is entirely deserving of a lovingly restored Blu-ray edition! Aye! and another notable highlight is composer, B.C Smith's magnificently moody score!
