'Live Feed' (2006) - Ryan Nicholson.

This palpably plotless, copiously blood-soaked, low-budget Ferraro is a vulgar, and frequently hilarious chunkblower! Ryan Nicholson's obnoxious 'Live Feed' is a sleazy, relentlessly crude slice of bargain binned Grindhouse grue. A querulous group of holidaymakers become the gruesome victims of a voyeuristic triad psychopath during their injudicious visit to the pestilential-looking 'Venus' porno theatre. While rudimentary, and undeniably trashy, it has an endearing stupidity, and an eagerness to shock which occasionally works in its favour. While the performances and squelchy synth score are decent, the lack of funds and conspicuously 'rushed' aesthetic frequently undermines its plausibility.

If the rumours of, GG Allin's liver having had literary ambitions are to be believed, it would, in all likelihood have secreted a more subtle stream of consciousness than Live Feed's sordid 'screenplay', but until someone locates this legendary urinary tract, the unlovely contents of, Ryan Nicholson's cheapo, 'Blizzard of Gore' throwback to the gory Drive-in daze of, H.G Lewis just might suffice for the more forgiving splatter mad hatters! The engaging extras on the DVD prove more fascinating than the feature itself, and whether intentionally, or not, 'Live Feed' frequently made me chuckle, and for that diggable reason I dug it.
