'Hanzo The Razor: Who's Got The Gold' (1974) – Yoshio Inoue.

Dishonourable Samurai are callously coerced into covertly pilfering the Shogun's gold, and Hanzo doggedly unearths the despicable, high-ranking mastermind. The inimitable hard case Hanzo returns for yet another bloody, vividly realised, powerfully compellingly tale of arch villainy, greed, despicable vice, and foulest high-level corruption. What I love so much about Hanzo The Razor is that he's a Sherlock-level sleuth endowed with Baby Cart Katana skills and a monstrously oversized, truth-seeking trouser torpedo! The higher echelon are certainly no better behaved today, and, sadly, steely honest proletariat hero Hanzo has long since retired his indefatigable tool of justice! The White House would very soon be drenched in a swathe of livid vermilion if Hanzo had decided to clean up that particularly dismal den of duplicity.
