'The Conqueror' (1956) – Dick Powell.

People frequently disparage the patent lack of original thinking in Hollywood, but way back in 1956 some skewed fantasist cast lumbering Celt John Wayne as swarthy Mongol warlord, Genghis Khan in Dick Powell's woefully misguided biopic The Conqueror. So there!!!!
