This fascinating Man Alive programme concludes by following a young Borstal 'trainee' out of the institution and back into civvy street. It would appear that the transition from a year of institutionalized life and outside is frequently fraught with a number of issues that social services are largely unable to cope with. This is the forthright manner of intelligent, erudite, informative, seemingly unbiased reporting that I have always found so utterly compelling!
