Man Alive – The Ravers (1967).

'The Ravers' is another brilliant edition of the iconic factual show Man Alive that features candid interviews with the various girl-beleaguered members of Simon Dupree and the Big Sound. This informative programme investigates the heady phenomenon of wild teenage ravers, namely the overtly enthusiastic girls/fans/groupies whose blind adoration of a group libidinously leads them to brief assignations with their flouncy-shirted idols. There's some especially lovely footage here, notably groovy 60s fashions, and pretty group-giddy Dollies and their absolutely fab mod barnets!
