'The Wretched (2019) is a fun, ominously ookey, eerily engaging, suburban-set, spruce-looking folk horror freak-out, with its brightly engaging characters, some playful repartee, and one wickedly wonky, warp-headed Witch, whose terminally twisted physiognomy, terrible thousand yard stare, blood-thirstily body-hopping, nightmarishly unneighbourly neighbour gnawing, creepy child-snatching, and grisly, antisocially arboreal antics just might get deep beneath your creepy crawled skin, and hatch her hateful horror hives!!!!

This anciently malevolent, mutably maniacal, family coveting tree spirit proved to be one barking mad Beech!!! She is such a monstrously malign, murderously misshapen mistress of mulch-dwelling madness, that you'll be actively rooting for the mighty pine protagonists John-Paul Howard, and his adorably willowy, fern-buttocked buddy Piper Curda, and while this cinematically cutesy couple are great company; you know what they say...'Two's company, but one terror tree's a shroud!!!' So, don't be a sap, watch 'The Wretched', as yew would be a ripe walnut to miss it! After you have entered this wicked witch's terror tree you're just Aspen for an ash kicking, buddy!
