'The Dead Zone' (1983) – David Cronenberg.
You certainly don't need the power of second sight to see that macabre maestro David Cronenberg's atmospheric, ice-cool, future-flashing fright-flick 'The Dead Zone' is a melancholy, preternaturally perfect, beautifully acted, scissor-sharp, rollercoaster giddy, doom-laden descent into the unknowable, fearful realms of a vision-tormented mind! The reigning dark prince of diabolical dread Stephen King's slow-burningly sinister, far from comatose 80s shocker about kindly prognosticator Johnnie Smith (Christopher Walken) doing heroic battle against Satanic senator Stillson (Martin Sheen) remains an eerie, meticulously menacing, extra-sensory celluloid sensation that starkly climaxes in a ferociously fate altering, sharply-shot sequence that you didn't see coming!!!
'Vote Greg Stillson and make American Horror villains great again!'
